Well the season has arrived once more and although we may no longer have the wonderful Rev'd Clapham, our services are still going ahead to ensure that we can all celebrate this special season together!

Beginning with our Carol Service on Sunday 22nd December at 6pm through to a celebration service on Christmas morning - we hope that there will be a service for everyone.

How do you like your scones? The Devon way with cream first followed by Jam? Or are you more like the Cornish with the jam first and a lovely dollop of clotted cream on the top? Well whichever way you have your Cream tea, we would love you to come and join us on Saturday 13th July at 3pm.

What a wonderful Easter we had at St George's. From waving our Palm Crosses on Palm Sunday through to our Three Hours at the Cross led brilliantly by Rev Canon Stephen Bowen and accompanied by organist Ian Carson and ending with a glorious Easter Sunday celebrating our Risen Lord - we are so thankful for this Eastertide.

Instead of our usual Soup Saturday, in March the event will be in aid of Christian Aid and all the great work that they do. Please do come along and tell your friends to come to for a bowl of delicious homemade soup in return for a donation to Christian Aid in this season of Lent.

Our most popular service of the year! Our Christingle service includes prayers, readings, carols and nativity songs sung to nursery rhyme tunes! There is also the all important lighting of the Christingles - a moment filled with awe and wonder for all. Come and join us - but come early as we are always brilliantly bursting full!Christmas Eve 4.00pm!

Good grief it's that time already but whilst the shops have been selling Christmas goodies since October, we are only now preparing ourselves for the most wonderful time of the year...when our King will come!

Sunday 2nd December marks the beginning of Advent -our time of preparation. Full of hope and expectancy, we wait for the baby Jesus to be born.
